Würth Modyf

Würth MODYF is a subsidiary of the Würth Group, specializing in the manufacture and sale of workwear and safety footwear for professionals in craft and industry. The brand offers a wide range of products combining comfort, sturdiness and safety standards adapted to different trades.

Summary

To educate its customers and internal sales staff, Würth MODYF wanted to create dynamic Motion Designs to summarize European legislation on safety footwear. A great way to shine in SEO!
These Motion Designs present different models of footwear according to their protection criteria. There are 5 videos, for 5 levels of protection. Naturally, each video highlights the brand's different models.
We've created these Motion Designs in 5 languages, so they can be widely used throughout Europe.

Challenge

There was not one but several challenges to the success of this project. The first was to understand the complex European legislation in order to extract the essential, user-centric information. From hundreds of pages of information, we had to develop a short script of less than a minute per episode.
The second challenge was to come up with an initial motion design (in English) that could easily be translated into several languages. After all, words are longer in Norwegian than in Italian!
Finally, the last challenge was the casting of voice-over actors throughout Europe, which we managed to ensure that there would be no rights issues for the brand wishing to use the videos freely.

Solutions

As always, the secret to a successful project lies in mastering constraints and processing information effectively.
Before the project, we took the time to understand all the constraints in order to adapt our response and our creative processes.
During the project, we were able to communicate and convey important messages to the various stakeholders to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
Each project is unique, and so are our responses and working methods.
